Ride for Fire
We are pleased to announce the first club ride for 2022 after the 2 year hiatus!!
Please join us on Saturday June 25th for the “Todr for Fire”
This ride will be supporting our local volunteer Fire Department in Bright. All proceeds will go directly to the Fire Department to help fund their services.
- $10 per member and per members passenger
- $15 per non-member
- Registration will begin at 9:00am
- Ride starts at 10:00am
- Lunch is provided with admission fee
- T-shirts will be available for sale.
- $20 per shirt. If interested please indicate size in your registration. Money will be collected on the the day of the event.
- Limiting the ride to 50 quads/SxS
All money will be collected during official registration on the day of the event.
Cathcart trail closed
Cathcart Trails remains closed
Back in November we were contacted by Brant County due to a complaint that was received related to the Cathcart Trail System. When By-Law enforcement investigated it was determined that the existing ATV trail system is on land under zoning categories “Agriculture”, “Environmental Protection” and “Wetland”. These zoning categories prohibit the use of ATV trails under By-law 61-16 Section 4.41 h.) a track or facility for the driving, racing, or testing of motorcycles, snowmobiles, or any other motorized vehicles.

The Innerkip trail is currently OPEN. As of Nov 29 it will be CLOSED.
The Cathcart trail has been CLOSED since Nov 1 until next riding season.
The trails will remain closed until next riding season, unless conditions are favourable to allow us to open during the winter months. If this opening happens, we will communicate to the members.

Decorate your quad with Holiday Spirit!
We will meet at the Innerkip Ball Diamond (104 Blandford St, Innerkip) at 5pm where we can pre-stage before riding over to the market for the parade start.
Helmets will be required. Kids are allowed to participate - but if they will be driving, please be sure they are on an appropriate sized machine for their age and able to handle it.
In support of the Lions Club that is hosting the event, we are asking everyone to bring non-perishable food or unwrapped toy donation to donate to local charities. We will collect these at the staging parking lot and place on the GLATV float.

Lisa & Nathan Rocheleau are the glue that holds our club together, with endless dedication, attention to detail and ability to organize and mobilize our volunteers. Thanks to their contributions, we have accomplished so much in the past 4 years.
Lisa has held many rolls for multiple years for our club. She’s currently our VP and keeps me in line and on track of what I need to do. She’s a social media and events champion who always rises to the occasion.

Spreading Holiday Cheer Despite The Year
Although we were not able to host our annual Christmas in the Woods ride to collect toys to children in need, the club supported by donating to the Brant Salvation Army towards their Christmas Hamper program and the Ingamo Homes Womans shelter in Woodstock to buy toys.
The GLATV Executives and Board of Directors would like to wish you all a Happy and Healthy Holiday season.

Both the Innerkip and Cathcart trails are closed for the season.
